Roadtrip to the MC Showroom?
« on: Feb 01, 2009, 07:06:03 PM »
Its looking like my family and I might be roadtripping down to Monterey to see my sister for springbreak this year. I REALLY dont want to ride in the backseat of a subaru for 700+ miles so I am seriously thinking about driving my 83 down  :driving: As I got to looking on google earth I thought how cool would it be to come check out the showroom and buy some stuff in person  looks like its about 3 hours from Monterey to Fresno? This will be my 2nd roadtrip in my truck, we went to La pine Oregon over the summer and it did pretty good. Any suggestions other than a tune up before such a long trip?

as great as the guys in the office are they arent all that much to look at, there is alot to see at  :turtle:  but as far as a big show room with lots of bells and whistles.... that aint  :turtle: there is stuff to see and if ya ask nicely  you might get a tour of the place. My point is dont expect to see a fancy show room with all the stuff you dream of on shelves, because it aint there, but the guys are great to woprk with and very helpful. have fun

I drive past the shop every day on my way home from work. Used to work next door about 11 years ago. I even got to talk to the man himself when I had a leaky ARB compressor. He took the time to look at it for me and diagnosed a bad o-ring, even told me to go cheap and get it from Home Depot or the likes.

Great guy, that Marlin is!   :king:
