Checking in from Salt Lake
« on: Aug 20, 2008, 08:04:00 AM »
Hey there, my name is Dustin, living in Salt Lake. I just got a 79 because I had a first gen about 5 years ago. I started building it and then rolled it.:smack: I've missed that truck ever since. So i bought another first gen. And I've still got my 4.88 gears, lockers and 3 inch lift to get it started. Cool thing about this truck is somebody already put a w56 tranny in it and the wider rear axle. Pretty good start for a trail rig..

Right on fellas...pretty good welcome. Yeah the truck needs a little fixin. I have to get crafty with the heater controls because we have to have defrost to pass safety inspection in Utah. Unless I can luck out and find a heater control unit. Poor truck has been tweekerized a little bit. But nothing that cant be fixed :flamer:
