solid spacer factory?

third out of a 83 housing

/83's never had the solid spacer from factory  ...

Both of the diffs from my '79 that had 4.37's had solid spacers, and I know for sure the front diff had never been taken apart. I think some of the early ones did. Mine had similar markings, and didn't quite look like the aftermarket one I bought.

Some of the early Toyota's did have solid spacers from the factory. My friends 81 had solid spacers.
1985 toyota SR5, 22re,  5.29's locked front and rear, duals with twin stick, longfields.

Since they are a Toyota part , they must have made them for something.

Every 1st gen diff I've seen had the solid spacer. Toyota didn't start using crush sleeves until '84. They also changed from a 4.11 to a 4.10 in '84.
