Toyota Truck 2WD to 4WD. Need help
« on: Sep 12, 2007, 06:27:14 PM »
I have a 94' 22RE powered bone stocker 2WD truck that I,m planning on converting to 4WD.  I'm 15, and know about a lot of products and how they work but I don't have the expierence yet.  I'm planning on having sprung over 8 inch axles with custom high steer kit and making my own 4 or 5 link suspension that uses heavy duty FJ-45 springs with dual shackes.  If you have anything to help me along with this project let me know, thanks.
Long live Hilux 'Yotas, the best trucks on 4 Wheels!

though, unless the truck is a very good example or free, you're almost always better off just finding a 4x4 version.  I got mine for $600 - needed a new windshield, blower motor, alternator, and a bunch of other minor things, but not having to mess with the 4wd was a godsend.
