1988 TOYOTA X-cab V6 mini truck available for Turn-key wheeling. This truck spent it's life in Arizona so it has absolutely no rust anywhere! This took me 2.5 years to build RIGHT from the ground up. If you want to start wheeling the Rubicon, Moab, etc. this year, right now, this is your rig! **This is for all you purists, all parts are TOYOTA**

List of specs:

Solid Axle Swap with FZJ80 hi pinion e-locker, Longfields (all bearings replaced)

Rear V6 axle with Tacoma e-locker (all bearings replaced)

Yukon 5:29 gears

Heavy Duty U-bolt flip kits

All-Pro 4" Springs with HD extended shackles

All-Pro Hi-steer arms with Heavy Duty Tie Rod and Drag link

Hydro Assist steering professionally installed by Local 4WD shop

New Toyota steering pump, and gearbox

New High Angle brand Drivelines custom taylored to set-up

1.5" DOM sliders welded to frame professionally by 4WD shop

Hi-clearance bumpers front and rear with D ring shackle mounts

2" Receiver in rear bumper w/custom removable license plate mount

New Warn XD9000i winch (never used)

Hella Rallye 4000 lights with covers

V6 was updated with a newer motor

Downey Intake, Downey Headers matched to a 2.5" Flowmaster w/hi-flow Cat

New HD Clutch

(5) New BFG Mud Terrain 35x12.50x15 mounted on Alcoa M/T Classic 2's

Spare is mounted on matching steel wheel

1.5" DOM Spare carrier/ roll bar welded to frame w/removable links

Professionally bobbed 12" from bed, then Rhino lined entire bed behind removable panels and panels themselves

Professional paint 2002 Toyota "Thundercloud" metallic w/3M chip guard applied to rockers prior to spraying

Interior is very clean for year, CD player, everything works, AC needs charging.

Everything on this truck was either replaced with new parts, rebuilt, or refurbished by me. Anything I felt was out of my league was professionally done by a Local 4WD shop. This is a very capable, well-built rig, with a wheel base of 118" you can walk those obstacles that hold up the FJ40's, I have been told by many that it's the cleanest mini truck they have ever seen. No details have been spared...You won't be disappointed, if a turn key wheeler is what you're after, look no further!

I HATE TO SELL MY BABY, HOWEVER I HAVE TOO MANY PROJECTS AND ONE MUST GO SO I CAN FUND THE OTHERS! I am a very motivated seller and would like to pass this on to someone who will really enjoy and take care of her!

Located in Utah, asking $14,900 or make me an offer because it will be gone by the end of the month, gotta get on with things!!!

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Yeah and like I said I am an open and reasonable person to offers, I may be off to some but that's where offers come in, and I'll consider any offers... thanks!

First of all, that's one clean looking truck.  Second it's too pretty to take off road!  If it had dents, scratches, dirt in the back of the wheels, or some grease splattered on a cross member, you might have better luck selling it!  Any action shots you could post?  I wanna say you did a great job on building it!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

4THEWKN~9/17/2006  If it wasn't for you, I'd be driving something other than a Toyota!

I'd love to have a truck like that and I'll probably end up building one just like it and easily spending more than $15K by the time it's finished but coming up with $15K cash all in one whack for one already done is the baileywick of people who usually don't have the sense to give a damn about old Toyotas and would probably go drop their $15K as a down payment on one of those new "so called" Lancruisers.

Your truck is "Xtra Tight" and everything in it was well thought out and maticulously done from the looks of it.

Hopefully someone will get wise and give you just it's value in parts alone as a wise investment.

I've often said "if I knew how great my old 1985 Toyota really was going to be I would have bought 2 of them at $7500ea and still have a brand new one sitting in the garage 20 years later ;)"
