Did your skyjacker springs make popping noises when they flex / shift?

I had them in the front of my old truck nd they did for sure. They sounded awful.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

I run 4404's  5 inch in the front with a 5.5 shackle. Chevs in the rear with the sky kit and it gives me enough to fit 37's......But instead of running blocks in the rear run a small drop hanger...like an 1" or 2" inch you can easly get the lift you are looking for.

I'm running marlin 4" springs up front with 5.5" shackles and a front spring hanger,Which adds up to a 7" lift. Then I have 2wd 63" chevy springs in the rear with 6" shackles and the rear sits about 1" lower. So you could try that and run just a 1" block or put a 1" block deal between the frame and shackle hanger.

if you mean the 63 inch chevies  sellthem to some  one else,  they are really thick  and wont mix  with toy leaves

get a set of 2wd F150 extended cab  springs, 88-94  they  will give you 5 inches then  use a longer shackle

2wd F150 rears will give you that much lift in the rear of the runner?  How much longer are they then the stock runner rears (1984 runner)

Nope I thought it was 5inches at first (cause i had 5inch front springs) then realized it was probably closer to only 3 on my truck (sagged in the rear a lot) and maybe 1-2 on my 4runner. If it got any of a load then they would be almost flat, had nice flex though for sure. I have to run 3inch blocks :ack: on my runner to get the rear close to the front.
OH  ok,  so  on a  pickup  they should give  3 inches

and  need  extra leaves  for a runner

NO,   they wont give 5 inches  in the rear of a runner,
i think  a set of springs  from a  88-93  F250  might be better  but  im not sure  i would need  to check

the f150's  are too soft  for the rear of a 4runner  and only  give about 2 inches of lift ON A 4RUNNER

The vin tag on my 87 4Runner reads 5080lbs. Remember you have a shell that weights about 300lbs I believe but don't quote me on that.

Finally ready to swap on the chevy springs and the wider rear from an 89.  I guess I will just get the springs mounted and then see how much lift I get and how much I need and go from there with it.
