2.7 SAS oil pan question???
« on: Aug 01, 2007, 11:07:06 AM »
were SASing a 98 with a 2.7,     we've got marlins case adapter for gear drive(passenger drop),  we have the Toyota axle under the truck now with 44o44 springs,  and it looks like getting the ifs box mounted in the right spot with the drag link away from the oil pan is going to be tricky.  Anyone else done this???  is there a way to flip the pan around and change the pickup??
is there a 2wd CONversion like the 3.4 to t100 2wd???  I think we can make it work, but the steering box will be mounted forward quite a bit.   also, what is the canister in the front  of the fenderwell for??   it almost looks like an evaporator canister, but it doesnt smell at all like fuel??           please help.  anyone with 2.7 conversion pics would be huge (even with d44)
giggity
