Paragon closing, sign the petition.
« on: Jan 26, 2007, 01:52:46 AM »
Well I read on another forum that the Paragon offroad park is in a legal dispute and it may be getting closed.  I have never wheeled there and probably never will but we need to keep places like this open.  Sign the petition!!!

For whatever it's worth, I signed it, too. But I have heard online petitions don't do much good anyway so don't get your hopes up. But at least we can say we tried.

Mrs. and Mr. W, I feel the same way.  It won't do much I don't think but it may do something, maybe a little.  I will not be affected in anyway if Paragon closes but I know alot of fellow wheelers will so I just wanted to throw the petition up over here because it may help some.  If not, you are correct.  Atleast we tried.

Hell, it doesn't hurt to try. It could be a place we would potentially go to.

does anyone actually know the full story on what is going on with paragon and why it is closing? the land owner is selling the property for $20 million... the people that run the off road park lease the property..

They are 3years in 2 a 25yr lease  which means they have it....BUT it borders a Industry park   and the people who want 2 buy it have buko$$ and want 2 clear a park of the off road park for Industry park.

From what i have been told    The evil peps made a big offer 2 the land owners  and we all know $$$$ talks and poo walks.
Something about the Evil peps are trying 2 get Eviromentlist  2 cry  :blah:  and get the park closed.

Land developers are one of the bigest EVLIS  in this country i hate them with a passon  they all need 2 be shot.

Lol come wheeling in my neck of the woods, you will change your mind about the dust on the con.  When I wheeled the con before it was dusty but nothing compared to this desert I live in haha.
