We are winning this fight. The Marine Corp was supposed to announce their Record of Decision in May... then November...still hasn't happened.

We have succeeded in passing legislation to fight the expansion and we have congressional support.

It is time to put this issue on the President's desk.

Almost to 9,000 now and it's only been just over two full days! Keep spreading the word!

I see they increased the required signature count on any new petition to 100,000. It looks like this petition was submitted before the 25,000 requirement was increased

Nonetheless, 9,000 signatures in two days, times 30 days, is 135k signatures. Granted its not quite that high, probably closer to 8,000 in two days (not sure exactly what time of day it was started two days ago), but we have an excellent chance of even surpassing the new 100,000 limit as well, so long as we keep sharing this with others and keep the signatures coming

I'm pretty excited about this. I am looking forward to hearing the response from the government!

I finally got it passed. I tried several times, I didn't get the confirmation email. I was beginning to think it was my email address...it's unflattering to Sec. Napolitano (ex gov of our state).

Anyway...I'm on record (probably with the FBI).
