MC-14211 Question
« on: Dec 27, 2006, 08:06:38 AM »
I have a 4.7 tcase with the 30-4gt v6 adapter attached to my r150f tranny. I decided I am going to go duals. So I will need a 23 spline 2.28 crawl box with the dual adapter to go in front.

Question is do I need to install the MC-14211 23 spline input into the crawl box in order to mate it to the r150f. I am pretty sure I do just looking for some confirmation since MC is impossible to get a hold off. TIA.

Oh and I am tired of waiting for the MC-10. For that matter I can't even find out if it's available :)

Since all R150F trans have a 23 spline output shaft, you must use a 23 spline input gear in the crawl box.

I am sorry you are having trouble getting thur.
Please keep trying, we look forward to your questions.

Thanks Marlin,

Well I guess I knew that. CJ just got back to me about the MC-10 and infomed me that it is available. I guess I need to decide whether I want to buy a crawl box to put in front of my new 4cyl case or buy the MC-10 and convert my 4cyl case to a crawl box.

I like the idea of using my existing case and retaining the 2.57:1 but I'm concerned about how far back the MC-10 will place the case and shifter. I have a dual tcase xmember and I would like to have my shifter come up in my coin tray. (95 PU). I will be buying one of the two options in the next week but I'm really flopping back and forth, so any help you can provide in choosing will be much appreciated. I am going to try and call again next week.

I guess if you guys are to busy to answer the phone it's better for all of us in the end so no worries.
