"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

The CJ springs are a little narrower than the YJ springs.Personally,I would skip the CJ springs and just go spring over axle with the stock YJ springs,You'll get a hell of a lot better ride and flex.

so we could do a spring over using his stock flat-ass springs?   thatd just take a ubolt flip... and longer shocks and pitman drop?

You don't even have to get a u-bolt flip if you don't want, just weld some new spring perches on top of the axles(be sure to angle them correctly)get longer shocks, and a pitman arm.You should be able to clear 35s with very minor trimming. To me that'd be the way to go...I would also recomend doing a shackle reversal and a short shaft kit,but that's something you guys can do later down the road, you can get away with not doing that just yet.

right now he has a 1in body lift and extended shackles and only wants to run 33s... is that going to be too much lift if we spring over it?
