What does using your rear springs up front intell (welding cutting etc.)? I am wondering if you have to do X over steering or can I get away with using stock? I don't have the money quite yet. But I want to lift my truck more and move my axle forward more and that seems like a cheap easy way.

im pretty sure its a direct swap, but u should probably save up for the x-over steering

With the amount that the springs move your axle foreward you will have to go to a cross over steering set up. you will also usually have to add a few leafs to the pack to compensate for the extra weight on them
I would Take my truck offroad but then it would get dirty

Nub said it all.... I use rears up front with some s-10rear leafs added. I built a drop spring hanger and even without it the springs alone would have moved my axle far enough forward to justify the push pull box unusable.
