84 rear springs on front
« on: Jan 03, 2004, 06:23:45 AM »
I am wanting to swap some rear springs onto the front of my 84 pickup.  How much lift will this give over stock?  I currently have a shackle lift and will go back to the original shackle.  This moves the axle two inches forward and I am going to relocate it one inch back, add a one inch body lift and hope to clear 35s with minimal trimming.  Just wondering if anyone has done this swap and what they needed to do to the rear to compensate.  Shackles or lift springs on rear?
