allpro and marlin springs are made by the same person   and have the same stagger  so they will bend in the same place as the all pros do ( sorry marlin springs fans.. )

we made the shackles they measure 4 1/2 inches eye to eye. and made my front hanger! the front sits just a hair taller then the rear and the rear has 3 1/2 inch lift blocks :puke3:(for now) i'm guessing i have about 4" lift in the front. these pics were taken during the mock up so stuff looks ugly. looks better now

if you want to use rears up front you have to do some modifications....but if you buy a front lift leaf spring and use the main on that with some rear leafs under it...it will be a nice ride with the lift you want and no modifications. the flex is just enough to not break anything with stock steering.

ok now they work!! the reason people use the rears up front is they are cheap!! also the center pin is offset this moves the front axle forward thus giving a better aproach angle!! my front is about 2 1/2 inches forward the front tires start to grab stuff way earlier meaning i can climb a steeper object

find a cheap used lift spring...skyjacker, tuff country, whatever and use the main and put rears under it...do that only if you can't go high steer or if you don't want to or can't fab up hangers. with rears up front you need a longer DS....

im a cheap ass so i did it without any kind of fab or welding...my truck is smooth!

what about using a rear main leaf and a 3inch lift set, and swap the rear in with the main leaf, to move the axle forward?

has anybody had good luck/flex with the 44044's?  i might do the 2.5'' set, but do they move your axle forward at all?  what about shackle angles?

Half the time it just gives me the most current threads in the forum I searched. I put stock length All-Pro 5" fronts in my truck, because with 33's, I don't need the extra wheel base and I think it looks a little funny with the small tires way out there.

I haven't been able to flex test the truck yet (still need to weld up the rear hangars, and I left my helmet at school this weekend, and my welds look like metallic bird crap with my dad's helmet). They are soft as hell though.
