Ok heres the story.........
Built an engine for a buddy which was a 22R block and head. The head and block were checked out by me and no warping or cracking found.
#3 cylinder is dead due to water. It has water in oil but no oil in water. So I put another new head gasket on. I know head was installed correctly.
I did a compression check on all cylinders. All were 165-170. Since ive changed head gasket twice now and still have same problem and compression is good it leads me to believe its either a cracked head or poss the lower intake is cracked and is sucking water into #3.
Im doing this for a buddy and he is pretty broke like me these days.
Just going crazy tryin to figure out whats going on. Basically all the parts came off good working engines and were recently rebuilt.
When I get paid or sell some stuff im gonna go have head checked out.
Was wondering if anyone has ever seen a cracked lower intake that would leak water into cylinder ?
