I saw a really cool old Enfield "jungle carbine" from the early 1900's (1930's I believe) at an auction awhile back with the full flash supressor that went for cheap, sorry I missed it.

Anyidea what it went for?    I didn't pay for any of mine( no I didn't steal them :gap: ) My step dad gave them to me. The Mauser belonged to his grandfather.I've never even fired it, he said it hasn't ben shot in 35 years. But I bet it would still work

don't mean to walk on this thread but i'm looking into getting a hand gun. was it hard to take the class and all that? should i even worry about it and just do it? I grew up with guns around the house including black powder and my other has givin me the green light to get a hand gun... what do ya think?

Class is simple.  I took it with a wicked hangover.  I am in WA and you dont need to have the class unless you are going to carry concealed.  But still good information.

I would suggest that anybody take the concealed handgun class to anybody out there!  I did it for two reasons.  At the time Oregon had a 21 day wait before you could legally take it home after you bought it!  So, when I wanted a gun I could take it home the day I paid for it!  And secondly, the most important reason, was that I could lock my gun up behind the seat or in a locked box out of sight!  If you don't have a permit, by law you have to have it exposed at all times, and that just makes the bad guys want it even more!  Be prepared, if you get pulled over, it will show up on a dmv check.  I had a cop pull me over driving a friends truck home for him.  And I gave the cop my drivers lic and he came back with his gun drawn asking me if I had a weapon concealed on me!   :yikes:   Most of the time my .45 ACP is locked in my glove box!

Guns!
1-10/22 stock
1-10/22target bull barrel stainless
1-ruger revolver .22lr/mag
1-.22 single shot  (my first gun, asked for a BB gun and got this for x-mas)
1-ruger mark II .22   6" stainless bull barrel
1-.410 single shot shotgun
1-winchester 30.30   94
1-winchester .32     94
1-.38 under cover sp.
1-colt defender stainless .45 ACP
2-savage mdl 99 300 (one dated back to 1918-5 number for serial#, one 1950's)
the 300 savage is the absolute best gun to shoot, if I were to keep only 1 gun it would be the savage
1-22-250 savage
1-remington nylon .22
1-winchest 12 guage goose gun  (long ass barrel)
1-.22 revolver great western
1-winchester .22 pump with octagon barrel (original)
1-springfield 30.06
1-Marlin lever action .357 magnum

I think I'm forgetting a couple!  But that's the bulk of it!

Ahh, finally a thread I can really relate to  .  Sadly I don't own anywhere near as many as I want to, but here goes.

remington 870 20ga, light model for bustin quail(some call it the youth/ladies model, I call it what I want!)

remington 788 .243, most accurate gun I've ever shot

remington 788 .308, my pig gun which I haven't shot yet but can't wait!

marlin model 60 .22, jams all the time but fun when it works

smith & wesson model 100p 12ga pump

swede mauser m96 in 6.5X55mm, fully sporterized, barely fired and superbly sporterized, my cleanest rifle by far.  And it's for sale....

Sadly Commifornia reduires huge fees for gun makers to pay for each model they wanna sell here, so I can't get the Taurus full titanium .357 I really want, so I'll probably settle for a ruger gp161.  Also wanna pick up a nice .40 s&w pistola, but hafta wait till after I sell my welder or one of my trucks.
RIP KYOTA

I have many. My favorite rifle is my sporterized 03A3, the funnest rifle is my AR. My 686 tops my pistol list whilst my Rem 1100 is my favorite scatter gun. All the rest have their own centimental value, but the one I've listed are my favorites.

ps.. stuffing one my 25 or 30 round mags into my favorite 10/22 is quite fun as well  :eyebrow:
