EFI Flooding out!
« on: Oct 03, 2005, 09:48:58 AM »
My 86 EFI 4runner is running really crapy.  When It would idle, or when I would down shift and engine brake it will load up, it floods out so bad it makes my eyes water.  I replaced the cap, rotor, coil and spark plugs and wires.

It still ran bad so i unpluged the TPS, and cold start.  It still ran bad, I took out my air filter and it runs way better, but still has the problem every now and then.  this problem started randomly and I cant figure out why.  Any suggestion?

could it be your fuel injectures are bad? my buddies bronco II had a problem with flooding out and when we checked the injectures about half of them were shot and just pouring out fuel as fast as possible.
remember no matter how bad life gets there's always beer.
