1985 22re flooding
« on: Nov 17, 2018, 10:44:28 AM »
I need help. Working on a 85 22re for a guy and it keep flooding the plugs with gas. I have put new plugs, wires, dist cap, rotor, fuel pressure regulator, egr, cleaned the pcv, put a known good afm on, new o2 sensor. It will start and run about a minute or two then start missing and blowing black smoke. Check all the plugs and all 4 are soaking wet. Let set for 10-15 mins and fires back up and runs good again for about 2 mins.
