Trade: my 'cruiser for a mini
« on: Jan 28, 2003, 05:48:20 PM »
I have a '70 cruiser project that I am interested in trading for a mini-truck up to '85. Let me know if interested. 'Cruiser would go for roughly $5000 OBO if I sell it instead. All options considered. I'm in Fresno

I don't have any pics right now. It is in the middle of a 350/sm-465/4 speed case swap. Engine is freshly rebuilt and is making 407 ft/lbs. and 340 HP. New clutch, resurfaced flywheel, mini-truck discs up front, clean hard top, good body, brand new 35/14.5/15 boggers on 15x10 rockcrawlers. Marlin's double steer arm with new links and TRE's. AA's twin stick setup for t-case. Has saginaw conversion and mini-truck power booster and master cylinder. Like I said, it's a project and not too far from completing. I added it up and in parts alone there is easily $7,000. I'm asking low because I got some good deals on some of the parts and not many people will pay much for a vehicle that is not completed.

Almost forgot, I have an extra front axle that has the knuckles turned for SOA and I have a good set of stock springs for it.

just wondering if that cruiser is still for sale.  I have an 83 PUwith a Marlin Rebuilt tranny, and heavyduty clutch, 4 inch suspension lift, rancho RS 5000's, a set of 32 wild countrys and 33's with shnitty rims and some really nice ones, has lockrites front and rear, a flatbed, with a dry/gell cell battery in the bed, has 91 crx bucket seats, pioneer deck, speakers(depends) i have a marlin 4.70 gearset not yet installed, and its an allright truck. Body is allright, except hood is wrinkled from rolling into a tree. Cut front bumper to fit a brushgaurd. It's black. I got ripped off and payed 2600 for it before ever knowing to much about 4X4 Toyotas and how you can get them cheaper, especially if they need a new tranny.  It has a brand new radiator and recent wheel bearings and such.  It has a hole cut in the fender for a snorkel i built.  It is a truck with character.  I am a 1st year college student moving in with my soon to be wife from WA. , so i really was just looking for a miracle of a trade.  I have pics if you are interested or just want to see some.
