v6 and 4cyl. axle housing the same?
« on: May 31, 2005, 04:43:04 PM »
Does anyone know if there is a difference between V6 and 4cyl rear axle housings?

Strength? Diameter?

I have a 87 4cyl. axle houing that I am thinking about using, just wondering if a V6 housing is stronger.

Ive heard that the 6 cyl housing is a bit stronger but Ive yet to prove it.  Id say if anything the later the housing the better really.  Well better until the taco's that rip the perches off. :smack:
