ARB diff lock/solenoid oil spray
« on: Dec 10, 2013, 12:20:08 PM »
How much oil leakage is normal from the solenoid on my ARB locker?  Routed a line from the solenoid to the undercarriage when I installed it to keep the spray out of the bed (compressor mounted in front of the wheel well inside a campershell).  Read that if the o-ring deteriorates the extra oil making its way up the air line can foul the solenoid.  After actuating the switch a I'll get a couple drops out of the bleed line and can hear the air/oil mix purge, normal/too much??  Time to replace the o-ring??

Drive fast, drive slow, it does both, then I sleep in it when I get there.
