High Lakes condition

A couple friends and I are planning on goin wheeling up at the high lakes thursday night.  Just wondering what the conditions are like up there and what to expect.

Snow is melting, 2 weekends ago the snow started in Inskip. Last weekend the snow didn't start till Bottle Hill. Around the Carr Mine there is prob. 6 to 8 feet ,kinda crusty...........

really crusty,
small snow last weekend at inskip
cool if you stay in the trail, but shitty if you go off

That was a 10 foot hole. It would have swallowed a snow cat. My buddy that was driving his rig just wasnt paying attention and callen wasnt bright enough to tell him that a friend drove into the same hole a few years back and flopped.

Everybody and their mother was out today! Good 2-3 feet of new snow and snowed almost all day. Cluster f$%# about 2 miles up from Inskip , mostly stuck Jeeps! Awesome snow thou............  :beerchug:

Come on guys, post up some photos of the snow wheeling!!! I wish i could wheel in snow like that!
