RV cams for a 22re
« on: Dec 05, 2010, 11:51:54 PM »
I'm thinking about getting a rv cam from Mr. Engine builder, will it be a big gain? Atleast big enought to notice?
Is there anyone there that has one already? I'd rather get the rv cam instead of the comp cam due to the aggressive idle. I hear the power is great but the rough idle is not my thing.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW THE RESULTS.

THANKS. :driving:

I have his torker cam..... combined with his O/S SS valves, RV springs, .010'' off the head, LCE adjustable timing gear with the cam timing set at 2 degrees advanced, block decked .006'' and bored .040'' over I noticed a decent amount of torque increase throughout the powerband. I can lug it down to 250 RPM's no prob :beerchug: I still need to open up my stock exhaust and let it breath!!!

I just got one of his torker cams for my 22r and i love it so far. Way more bottom end than the stock cam. My idle is dead smooth too. I also swapped carbs out to the 38 from stock at the same time so im sure im getting more from it than just a cam swap would but i dont think you'll be disapointed using one. :twocents:
