wheel spacer question
« on: Jul 18, 2010, 01:26:31 PM »
Just got a pair of 1.5" wheel spacers in the mail. Don't know the brand. Marlin says torque to 75-80 ft lbs trail gear says 100. I'll ask the seller if he knows the brand but just incase, does anybody have any input?

Thats what i thought too. Marlin and TG spacer both have the same hardware so if i'm leaning towards 80 ft lbs.

You'll be 100% fine with 80.

80 to 85 fpt. is what I'd suggest as that is what Toyota recommends for lugs. The reason I say this even though you are doing this to a spacer is.... it is what Toyota  has tested their lugs and studs to. You may mess up the threads or even compromise  the stud if you go beyond that.
