96' Taco needs e-locker
« on: Nov 22, 2009, 07:28:46 PM »
I'm trying to figure out my gearing options after I find a complete e-locked rear. My truck has 3.91's, not common with the elocker I think. I live in san diego, home to a dearth of TRD prerunners, does anyone know if these commonly come with 4.30's. I'm fixin' to harvest a prerunner rear and then re-gear my front, either by new gears or by finding a matching diff out of something else. Are all the ADD front diffs compatible 95-04 (can I bolt on a front diff from a push button 4runner or tacoma to my manual transfer cased(ADD) tacoma?

more common were 4.56's   look for axle code B04A or B04B   the 04 is the code for the 4.56 gearing

just get a detriot or arb locker
Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

OK, I searched-got axle codes. Still not sure what's the deal with 95-2004 ADD front diff interchangeability(push button vs. manual). Are wiring and vacuum lines the same for all late model 7.5" ADD-diffs???
