another new guy from Bay Area
« on: Oct 13, 2010, 11:08:01 AM »
Howdy

Name is James. Got an 86 Suzuki Samurai running Toyota axles. Figured I'd post up and introduce myself. Have used the tech on this board a few times but just recently joined up.

Anyway lets see if these pics will work.

Always game to meet more people down to go wheeling.  :beerchug:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the welcome  :beerchug:

I have mixed feelings on that cage. I like it and all... but would do some things differently. Maybe squeeze the roof in some more. Try and make it a little lower (would have to cut into the floor to run seat mounts lower. I ran tube just over the floor board). I also want to close in some of the openings. Roof is a little too open (easy fix) and the "door" way. Wanted to keep it easy getting in and out... but don't want to rub a rock with the noggin either. Live and learn.
