Need Your Help in the Bay Area
« on: Apr 21, 2004, 11:14:00 AM »
Alright Guys, here's the deal - I have an 85 P/U. My buddy sold me a pair of set up 3rds with 5.29's and an ARB in the rear. I was able to swap out the rear no problem but the front is another story. I purchased Marlin's knuckle service kit and would like to rebuild the front end and put that 3rd member in there. If anyone who knows how to do this could meet up with us to help out, that would be great. We have a shop in downtown Oakland and all the tools (except for a Hub Socket). We'd grab a case of  fire up the BBQ, and get to wrenchin'. If anyone's interested in helping, please let me know. Thanks guys.

If the truck is driveable I have an idea  I live about 20 min south of sac and about and hour out of oakland give or take a few. I would be willing to help you out if you come on down here and we can do it in my garage. I'm pretty fresh on the front end being that I just helped a friend of mine do his last week  So let me know if that's an option for ya and we can take it from there.

Runner- Wow man thanks for the offer. I just might tow her up there to get that taken care of. I've been sitting on this for so long now, it's really getting irritating. Shes not registered or insured, so let me see if I can line up a haul rig and trailer. What's your schedule looking like? How long did it take you to do your friends? Thanks.
