Alternator took a crap, replaced it and now I have no power at all, no headlights, no ignition, nothing. Battery has juice, alternator is new. Checked fuses etc... Anyone have this happen? Its acting like a fusable link thats out of sight is blown or something. Its in the shop now since I was tired of chasing wires. Its an 81 with external voltage regulator.

Update: Ok the shop took care of it. The problem was 23 year old battery cables. They just decided to let go othe same time as the alternator.
