Are the springs off of an 84 yota the same as an 80? Will they work?

Stock wouldn't be worth the drive.

Well I am putting a 4 link front and 3 link rear in it within the next 6 months so I dont really want to spend alot on springs.

I might consider throwing an extra leaf in the current pack to help over driving that far. You might find that the ones you get are just as fatigued as the ones you already have.

True, Where would you get an extra leaf and how would you go about putting it in?

You can get them at a junkyard, rears would be best, or a load leaf would do. All you need beyond that is new centering pins. Just jack the front enough to drop the front axle off, remove the old centering pin, place the new leaf, install the new centering pins and bolt the axle back in, viola.  Just keep the new leaf shorter than the shortest current leaf on the pack.

Yes, they are the long leafs so that would work. The short ones would break the existing springs over time.
