coolant issuses wit my rig...
« on: Apr 14, 2009, 06:19:03 PM »
i am having a weird problem with my truck, i top  the coolant off every mourning before i have to go to work..wuts happing is i top it off, drive for a lil while, let it sit for a few hours then go back to drive it and i have to fill the radiator back up, for some reason it keeps filling up my overflow tank and loses water that way but it wont suck the water back into the radiator it self..i have already replaced the water pump, radiator cap and thermastat...i cant find any leaks besides from the overflow tank..can the be a bad radiator...? or headgasket..?  the oil looks good and so do spark plugs.. let me know wut you think..thanks for the help..

I was also thinking head gasket  but U say the plugs are clean   what about the tailpipe on start up.

I don't know off the top of my head if auto toy tyrannies have a oil cooler in the rad i think they do :dunno:  but if U have one check the lvl
