Did you call the cops and let them know what you saw and where you saw it?  Did you happen to have a camera with you to take some pics?  The only way they are going to get caught is if they are caught in the act or in possession.  They know who they are but they need to catch them when they jacked a vehicle or with stolen property.

Since I am in the FD, I am really good friends with all the cops in this town.  And they say the same thing that I just said in the above paragraph.  The other issue is that the citizens in this town didn't support the LE levy and wonder why there aren't any cops to come and help when they are in need.  They are only on patrol for 12 hrs a day 5 days a week and cruise around in two wheel drive caprices that can't go off road.

Also, if you found a cache of vehicles then you can call the cops and tell them what you found and where.  Or if you don't want to do that then send me a PM of the location of the vehicle(s) and I'll contact them.

You have to be careful though cause some of them will screw you in the end.  My buddy (which had his truck stolen recently) had an 84 long bed, mint condition.  He bought it brand new off the lot when he was 18.  He had a 4" lift, 35's, 4.88's, bumpers front and rear, custom real tree camo interior, car alarm and hidden battery cut off switch.  Anyways he keep all of his receipts over the years and the insurance company didn't care and screwed him in the end.  He only got $2300 for the truck.  The insurance company really didn't care how long he owned it or what mods he did.  They just blue booked it and came up with a price for some of his mods.

ya for sure some of the companies will screw ya in a heartbeat! I have state farm and a very close relationship with my agent and I am sure he would cover most of my mods in the case of a theft..... I know state farm is better than most companies in making the customer happy and they have never failed at keeping me as a customer! I have theives

I identified the people. I already knew who they were. They have come buy my house since trying to get revenge on interupting them. My 85 4 runner has been stolen 3 times so I've made alot of law enforcement friends since, trust me we've been in contact and alot of people in the Illinois Valley are going down.
What sucks is the guys who took my truck the last time i gave parts to for free. Then when i catch them they are using my tools out of my 4runner to strip another one.

id advise moving from southern oregon. its a :pokinit: hole...  i lived in wolf creek ( the shittiest of :pokinit: holes in oregon  )  and had my house broken into 3 times!  my bike stolen and saw countless other things go down.  called the cops and they basically said ohh well tuff :pokinit:.  i got the money from the homeowners insurance and moved back to cali.  id rather live with hippies than the trash up in oregon.  its too bad to because there are some of the coolest people up there but the tweekers and thieves ruined it for me. at least you got your rig back!
