1970 Chevelle
« on: May 07, 2009, 07:46:14 AM »
This is not easy for me to do but I am selling my 1970 Chevelle. My dad bought this for me 13 years ago when I was 13. Me and him stripped this entire car and rebuilt the whole thing. When we finished it about 4 years later he gave it to me for my first car. I have had A LOT of fun in this car!!! Got into a lot of trouble and have a ton of memories but all good things come to an end. I need to sell it to pay for college. I cannot tell you how hard this is for me but I need to do this. I hope this car goes to someone who will appreciate it.

Drivetrain:
Engine:
-383 small block Chevy stroker Balance and blueprinted
-Bored 0.060”
-Competition cams 284 hydraulic camshaft
-Dart sportsman heads 2.02/1.60
-10:1 Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons
-Forged steel crank
-MSD distributor with 7AL box
-Hooker headers with Aero chamber mufflers
Transmission:
-Built TH350 transmission
-Manual valve body
-TCI 3500rpm stall converter
-B&M pro shifter
Rear-end:
-12 bolt rear
-4.10 gears
-Spool
-Tom’s “Kick Ass” axles

Suspension:
Lowered about 2-3 inches all around. Currently the car is set up for street duty but I have all the drag racing suspension components. Boxed upper and lower rear control arms with custom aluminum bushings. Polyurethane bushings throughout front end. New upper and lower ball joints. Disk break conversion up front with oversized master cylinder.

Interior:
Beautiful interior. Custom headliner, carpet and rear panels. Custom 1966 Chevelle front bucket seats. The frames were sandblasted and painted before installing brand new factory black vinyl covers and new foam. Custom dash filled with auto meter gauges. Custom fully TIG welded 8-point roll cage.

Exterior:
Black rally steel wheels with brand new cooper tires. All new glass. Yes, I replace every piece of glass with factory original glass. 4” Harwood cowl induction hood.

This car hauls ass!!! It runs low 12 second quarter mile times!!! Also this car was featured in the September 2001 Super Chevy magazine. Check it out at: http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/fe...lle/index.html

Also the wheels and tires in the pictures are no longer on the car.
I know I am forgetting a lot of stuff. Also I have a ton of parts that will go with it.
