I have an additional hopped up XR200 motor for sale also. It is very similar except it has a lightened and balanced rotating assembly, titanium valves from a Yamaha, and megacycles old 3rd gring cam. It spins up faster than the one in the bike. It was too much for my wife so I built the other one ans it got out of hand. 800obo for the motor. or $2400obo for everything

...big bore 430cc in a 440cc sleeve

???  Could you explain this?

The 440cc sleeve has to be bored out to a 440 piston if that is what is going in there. However, the sleeve is just tight enough to need to be bored for a 430 piston. There is more "meat" on the cylinder sleeve wall than there was on the stock sleeve with the stock piston. I didn't want the bike to run hot or have a paper thin cylinder. Now it has 430 + 3 bores left and the 440piston + 3 bores left....Plenty of meat. I put the genuine HRC cam in, not the "Hotcams" brand. So it retains the decompression mechanism.

The XR200R is fun...it was faster with the older motor in it because the motor is more"pumped." I think the other motor would be cool to put into a little CR80 and see how a little 85pound kid could do on it compared to a modern race bike. The old man that built the motors, Bud Black, died a couple years ago @ 85. He was still machining and riding. He had a custom XR200 that he punched out to 275cc by moving the head stud holes and ran a .435 lift cam...man it hauled for a little motor. He was an old school flat track racer.
