this is 86 by the way. i was doing some reading over at pirate and found this interesting and seeing if anyone over here had some insight on the idea.

that's my thread.

I'm gonan take a crack at mocking a stroker motor up, but I'm having a lot of problems finding a cheap 2rz or 3rz crank to use.
I'm can't drop $200 for a crank+shipping on what is basically a gamble.
Iv'e already sourced a 22r engine to tear down
if you or someone you know (toyota mechanics?) has access to a wasted crank (and hopefully the rods, too)
please let me know so I can work out the stroker idea.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya Sundowner. There's a couple good junk yards here with lots of Toyota stuff in them.. Cheap parts too. As a matter of fact, a buddy just scored a pair of complete Toy axles for his Sammy in one for 50 bucks.
I've been reading the thread you started. And I think it would kick arse if this would work.
