snow at rubicon?

just wondering if anyone could give me a trail report of rubicon and let me know if there is still snow there.  if there is, any idea where or how much?  thanks

look on pirate4x4.com in the rubicon section they ran from wentworth springs to loon lake

well, not exactly what i wanted to hear, i guess there is still a lot of snow up there and going out the tahoe side isn't looking so good.  hopefully it will melt some more in the next couple of weeks.

Usually the trail isn't passable (or at least without a lot of winching and nasty drifts) until late may or early June depending on what kind of snow year we've had. Even though temps are up right now, we had quite a bit of snow up there this year.

how far can you usually get?  i don't have a winch or anything.  is it possible to make it to rubicon springs from loon side?
