december Rubicon snow run DEC 26th(With Pictures!)

To the best of my knowledge it was to keep out litterbugs. How are you going to keep out litterbugs when you let everyone right through? I didnt quite understand the reasoning, just the governator at his best. Just like up here in WA, 2 ORV areas gone permanantly this month. We gotta pull together and stop this BS. Im getting sick of it.

They said it was to help water run off.  Apparently water got caught up in the holes next to the big rocks becasue of people tires digging down.

December 26th is the day!!!!!!!!!

Not gonna be much snow on the Rubicon soon.

We are still going.  We have James (Jack8542), Pat (bigbluewillys), and me.  Maybe a couple other trucks from Georgetown.  We might not see any snow i guess, but we will still wheel around on the con.

And this is what happens when you rear end me going about 25mph.  Broke 2 welded bumper mounts and bent the 3 bolted mounts.  Bent the the 2 front body mounts too.  Radiator git the fan but didn't do anything to it.  We pulled it back out and it ran like nothing happened.  Nothing happened to my truck.

It was funny as hell though.  Everyone was laughing.  I had tapped my rear bumper on his bumer and he started chasing me down a fat hill.   I caught third gear in single low and he was on my ass.  I got to the bottom of the hill and it came into the main road (we were on a side road).  I tried to make the turn onto the road but didn't make it.  I slammed on my brakes and almost went off the other side of the road.  I look back to see James locked up all 4 tires and them slam right into the back of my truck.  We didn't expect his bumper mounts to bend/break like that.  its all good though.  Made for a great story.  He wasn't mad about it either.  We didn't even make it to the rubicon.  We got to Icehouse road from Wentworth about 2-2:30 and then turned around.  Icehouse was plowed so we weren't going to have much fun there.

The guy with the green toy, his name is Greg.  he has 38 inch swampers for it, but he took them off and put his street tires on it not knowing he was going wheeling the next day.  he wasn't getting any traction at all.  And the grill is off of his dad's totalled T100.
