I walked two cubes over to my Boss, told him my Vaca time will be approximatly the same time next year.  "As soon as the dates are set you will have my email" I told him.    :yesnod:   And I will be taking more time off I told him.   He said OK.

I will prob have to skip out next year...but I would be up for Moab or the Hammers or how bout something more toward the midwest so I don't have to drive so far this time??
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

We're thinking Hammers for next year's MCR for a change. Also, Panamint has been mentioned.  Of course everyone's input is also helpful for next year's choice.

I would be up for the Hammers as long as it is not too hot.

What are the specs for your truck?  There are different levels of trails.

i made it through the con no problem, but i heard its pretty much guaranteed to smash in your cab, fenders, and bed.  not that i really care, but i'd like to make it last as long as i can.  maybe after the first big hit, i won't care.

That's not necessarily true.  There is possibility of body damage but it won't destroy your truck.  It's all how you drive.  If you are careful, it's very possible that you might get through unscathed.

If it is something similar to what we did at Superlift, where you can park and return to your campsite every night, rather then trying to pack everything in with you, we would be up for something lke that. Somewhere different (and closer) would be cool

Yes, at the Hammers you camp on the lakebed.  I would be bringing my motorhome.  You do the trails during the day and return to camp at night.

I think the Hammers would be great.  There would be no Sunday delays due to breakage on Cadillac.  The lakebed is huge to have the raffle and everybody would be able to camp in one spot.  The pressure would be off of Marlin and his crew because of the sensitivity of the Rubicon.  Marlin wouldn't have to get home at 3 a.m. Monday morning because he is pulling a rig over Cadillac.
