*Sorry for cross posting from the land cruiser forum, but I need to get this fixed ASAFP so I can pull a moving trailer with my fj60 and get outta town!*

Hey guys.  Saw a post by "Marlin Crawler" on ih8mud from a couple years ago.  It references using an "upgraded" double lipped oil seal for the transmission output shaft.  This prevents the problem of oil pumping from the transfer to the transmission on land cruisers.

Did Toyota redesign the part & update it, or did the guys at Marlin Crawler find something better?

I just had my transfer rebuilt, and the new seal is not working.  Looking for a better alternative.

Thanks,

Eric
