dana 44's front and rear
their 8 lug front and rear
that means they are  from a 3/4 ton truck
What 3/4T trucks had a rear D44 with 8 lug?  :headscratch:  Semi-floater right?  Custom axles?   :dunno:  Only semi-floater I know of that was 8 lug is a GM 9 1/2 RG in their 3/4T rigs.

chevy had  dana 44  8 lugs  in the front  and  8 lug semi float rears,  they were classeds as 3/4 ton  but to me if it wasnt a full float it wasnt really a 3/4 ton

And I've seen some older ford's that had d44axles with the 8 lug.  Remember the ford highboy light duty 3/4 ton with the straight 6!

I do remember those trucks. Just never payed any attention to what they had under 'em for a rear. Guess I always assumed they were D60 with 8 lug.  Were those 44's full or semi's?

any close up pics of the T-case (rear and sides)?  Or maybe even the rear axle hubs? From what I can see so far the T-case looks very much like a NP203 from a 70's era model ford. If the axles were from the same application I would say those are D44 front for sure and D60 rear from a 3/4T p/u possibly from a 74-78ish model year.

i agree the rear looks like a d60, and the front d44 from a 70's model ford, there might be a serial number stamped in the housings, if there are you should be able to find everything out about that axle online. :gap:

Chevy 1/2 tons are 6 bolt FYI and that rear looks like a Chebby 10 bolt to me. If it is that would make it an American axle.

Definitely not a 10B chevy  :psss:. The 10B chevy cover doesn't have any flat sides. 10B cover is almost perfectly round.  :yesnod:

I was sitting in a DQ having lunch when a Ford F-250 went through drive-thru and I noticed something about it that look very familier, those little ears on the inside just below the springs on the rear so I now agree that they are out of a F250.

looks like d60 rear d44 front from f250 ford can't tell the tcase but I would say np 205 if it came from the same truck. I had a 74 f 250 and it had the same axles and tcase.
