Topic: Skid Plates

I picked up a 2004 4Runner three weeks ago and I was not too impressed with the quality of  the skid plates..
Has anyone replaced their skid plates? and do you have a preference.. 
This will be used for hunting trips to Nevada and Idaho..  nothing too serious but still scrape the bottom more than I like..

Yeah the Toyota factory skids are more tinfoil than they are metal.
Try www.budbuilt.com I don't know if the Taco skids will work on a runner but if anyone knows he will. Give him a call he is a great guy to deal with and his skids are extra beefy.(828)433-fourteen eighty-nine

I just installed my BudBuilt skid plate this week. Very burly,beefy strong.  It certainly looks the same as a 4runner skid plate, but dont know that for sure , Bud is a great guy to deal with give him a call.
