The early Toyota 4x4 vans
« on: Mar 23, 2007, 02:19:03 AM »
Remember the first Toyota vans in the 80's? They came 2WD & 4WD. Anyone every seen one lifted. I wonder if they use the same IFS set up as the pick up & could the suspension system be used? Would be cool if anyone had pic's & posted them,

Ha ha,those were cool and I allways wondered how one would look lifted.I allways thought it'd be cool to build a 4WD Tercell, the early 80s ones with some 35" MTRs...But then again, maybe I just have too much time on my hands and a wild imagination

 I would do it just to be different  Then the thought of people pointing & laughing sets in  :outtahere:

But someone has to have pic's of at least one that has some sort of lift  :crossed:

There was a guy on here that had one a while back.  I think it was only lifted like 2", and had 31"s I think :dunno:

The first 4wd one I saw definately sat higher than the 2wd models, not sure if it was lifted though.  Try finding a 4wd diesel van :bolt:

I found at least one that was lifted on this site. This site wouldn't let me like the actual photo gallery so if you want to see it you'll have to search for it. It had a front drop down bracket that was fab'd up & a rear coils with dual shocks in the rear with what looked like 31x10.50x15 Super Swamper. It was in the gallery in the random photo section  towards the bottom.

Outback? Is says Little Rubicon. I thought you meant Australia.
But that was indeed really weird. LOL!

I was just generalizing since it seems there are alot of different off road places that have Rubicon in it. I.E. Mini Rubicon, Little Rubicon etc.

I didn't know any place but the Rubicon used the Rubicon name. That's kinda lame if you ask me.
