Reward Offered For Stolen Tillamook Cheese Volkswagens

MANTECA/JAMESTOWN (KMJ) -- A trio of classic Volkswagen Mini-Bues, used for promotion by the Tillamook Cheese company, are missing.

Police say the pick-up truck and trailer used to haul the buses was stolen from a motel in Manteca early Saturday.  They were found burned near Jamestown early Sunday, but the buses were not there.

A post on Tillamook's Facebook page says, "Please help us find our beloved buses!"

The company is offering a $10,000 reward for help getting them back.

KRAFT sometimes gets our B grade cheese. 

No, they found the buses, in storage units east of Manteca.  The truck and trailer was burned.  Probably once they realized how noticeable they look.  It would be very difficult to sell everything off, due to the color and wraps on the rigs.
