if you dont use the rope thing you can take a compression gauge kit and hook a air hose to it instead of the gauge and adjust you pressure to 100psi and it will hold the valves shut so you can remove the spring for seals
Won't pressurizing or putting rope in a cylinder with the head bolts out cause the head to lift and ruin head gasket.
dam i wish i would have read this before i took off the head bolt,i think that rope trick would work.well now im changing the head gasket as well,i am picky on how my junk is done and i want it sone right the first time
