Straight axle
« on: Jan 19, 2007, 09:38:00 PM »
I recently bought a SAS kit from Marlin. Now I'm looking for an axle form a mid 80's truck or cruiser.
I found one close to home ,but thanks for all the replies.

PS I don't know how to close this Topic :smack:

  welcome to the site, you should go introduce yourself in the newbie section and fill us in on all your mods.

You'll probably wanna include your location to help people in finding an axle.  Just curious why you're considering a landcruiser axle?  I don't think the steering is compatible with your high steer that came with the kit.

I'm not new to the site ,I just don't log on much.I was under the impression the LC axle would work.I must have been misinformed.I'm still trying to learn more about this swap.I want to gather all the parts and info before I start the job. I'm located in Elko Nevada.
I'll go back to the newbie sit and reintorduce myself  Thanks

I've got a nice D44 set up as a direct drop in for a toyota. I'm in socal but don't know your price range.  It has a never used ARB, new chromo shafts, 4:88's and other goodies.
