Topic: 83-84 Wiring/Electrical

Specifically stuff in the engine compartment. Previous owner did a sloppy engine swap, and messed up alot of the factory wiring, conectors, and what not. I know people do the efi swaps so if ya have the left overs and want to sell them chaep then let me know. Even if you only have a complete wiring setup let me know what ya got. Im located in fresno. If an 84 engine was swapped into an 83, and the 83 intake used(hell I'm not even sure you would have to do that)there shouldn't be any difference in wiring.

Or do you mean something else by

83-84 Wiring/Electrical

83s and84s are different, wiring-wise, but the engine is EXACTLY the same.

oh thanks Duffil. i was told that 83 and 84 use the same wiring. guess i should have looked into this myself. Plane and simple i have an 84 pickup and a lot of the wiring is messed up beyond me even considering to repair it at this time(other things that aree more important) so i figured i would try this first before i strip all of the wiring and re-do it all myself.
