i have a funny idel sound in my 4 banger. the RPMS go from 1,500 down to 700 when the clutch is in & also whrn the truck is in N... so i went to the auto part store & bought a $4 PCV vale replacement for it hopeing it would fix this idel prob. but i can not find where the vale is located in my truck. I just bought the truck & i do not know a hole alot about the engine sorry if this is a simple question but i need help ...

if anyone could show me some images of how to change the valve or even where it could be found at that would help me out alot.

i did how ever buy lucas fuel injections cleaner & changed the oil ;) i hope my idel will be fixed... thx for everones help

on the valve cover (the thing that says "Toyota" on it and where you put the oil in) there are two tubes coming off it. the one furthest from you or closest to the cab is the pcv. Mine was a PAIN to get out. you need to heat the engine up so the rubber around the pcv can loosen up. mine was hard as can be and cracked off. To get my pcv out I put vice grips on it and had to pry that thing out.
