89 4 runner rear axels
« on: Jan 25, 2010, 05:01:09 PM »
I want to know if there is any truth to this. Some guy told me that the 89 4 runner had a stronger rear end than my 88. I own both the truck are the same, both v6, same body style one is a auto ,one stick. Has anyone heard this or was he blowin smoke up my butt.

89 runner is the same as an 88 4runner...

90 started the new body style which has a wider axle...same is true for 89-95 toyota pickups(pre taco) v6 3rds are stronger then the i4 3rd
