duals - '92 xtra cab
« on: Mar 22, 2006, 07:46:36 PM »
i've read just about everything i could, but don't remember coming across what to do with my speedo sensor.  my rear tcase is a top shift, and my reduction box is the original from the truck.  the problem is the stock tcase had an electronic sensor and the older one was mechanical.  so i swaped them out and lengthened the wires for the sensor, but it doesn't work  :dunno:

anyone want to help a brother out..........please............

well all I can think of to say is to make sure you've a really good connection on the wires you lengthened.
I think that the speed sensor is "low voltage" and it will not like a "not so good connection" at all.  :dunno:
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:
