clutch line
« on: Oct 30, 2005, 10:43:54 PM »
Broke my clutch line, no big deal, am peicing together a new one outta hardline.  (needed a new line anyway)  How big of a deal is it to have an extra fot or so of line, as opposed to the original length?

Doubt it will make a difference.  Just make sure it isn't kinked or will rattle against anything.

By the way, what size hard line are you using?  I need to make one myself.

It will not make any difference at all as long as you don't reduce the diameter when you bend it.

I'm using 3/16" from kragen *I think*  I took the broken piece in and matched it up to their hard line lenghts in the back.  The threads line up perfectly, and it looks to be the right dia.  Thats the problem, is kragen doesnt have the length I need, so I have to mix and match.
