Honestly I have no advice.

We dont deal to much with 4cyl autos at all, in fact we dont offer anything for 4cyl autos.

Are you here in Fresno?

I tried searching the Forums but I cant seem to find the post.
I know there is someone here who posted information on his conversion last summer. He will have all of the most direct answers.

But in general, you can still use the auto ecu you will just need to make the ecu think your aways in park, so the car will start, you wont be using any clutch start cancel.... hmmm

I dont know. Try LC Engineering or Downey Off Road to see if they (or someone) offers an aftermarket torque convertor for the 4cyl Toyota Automatic transmission.

I hate to say it but it sounds like your trans is toast. :( If you get another auto  or yours rebuilt, yes, get a cooler! Since you hit the mud, consider remote mounting it behind the cab with it's own fan. I run a remote cooler and filter. My gauge still hits 300* on long mountain climbs so I've been eyeballing an old A/C condenser on my back porch. :)
27-AT, some other adapter, flipped D300, twin sticks on cables.

Depending I would go beack to who did the rebuild or install..
Forgiveness is between them and god..
